We are looking for a confident, well-spoken, and motivated Inside Sales Executive to join our solar energy team. In this role, you will work entirely from our office, handling inbound and outbound phone calls to connect with property owners, residential clients, and small businesses interested in switching to solar power.
There is no field work or outdoor travel required for this position. If you have excellent communication skills, a polite phone manner, and love convincing people over the phone, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Calling: Call potential customers from provided databases to introduce our rooftop solar solutions and explain the financial savings and government subsidies available.
- Lead Qualification: Review electricity bills shared by clients, collect basic details (sanctioned load, available roof space), and identify high-quality prospects.
- Appointment Scheduling: Book fixed online consultations or site-survey appointments for our senior field engineering and sales teams.
- Inbound Inquiry Handling: Promptly answer incoming calls from social media advertisements or website forms and guide prospects through our initial discovery process.
- Record Keeping: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date log of all calls, customer responses, and follow-up dates in our internal tracking system.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 0–2 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, customer service, or BPO environments. Freshers with great communication skills are welcome to apply.
- Language Skills: Fluent in the local language and Hindi. Conversational English is a major advantage.
- Communication Style: Clear diction, a pleasant and professional telephone voice, and strong listening skills.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including comfort with Microsoft Excel, WhatsApp Business, and typing.
- Traits: Patient, persistent, polite when handling rejections, and eager to learn the basics of solar energy systems.
