Job Title: Engineering Delivery Manager (Insurance)
Years of Experience: 10 to 15 years
Location: Chennai/Bangalore
Role Summary:
As an Engineering Delivery Manager, you will spearhead the development of a greenfield Core Insurance platform. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and client-facing delivery, ensuring that a modern, microservices-based architecture translates into a high-quality, production-ready solution.
Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Delivery: Own the execution roadmap for a from-scratch Insurance Core solution, managing the full SDLC from initial build to milestone-based customer deployments.

Technical Leadership: Guide a cross-functional team working with ReactJS, Microservices, streaming architectures, and complex workflow engines.

Stakeholder & Escalation Management: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer-site deployments. Proactively manage project risks, technical debt, and client escalations.

Operational Excellence: Implement robust engineering practices for CI/CD, database management, and service orchestration to ensure seamless on-premise/customer-site delivery.

Mentorship: Lead and scale an engineering squad, fostering a high-performance culture focused on modularity and domain-driven design.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 4–6 years of experience in engineering management or technical delivery leadership.

Domain Expertise: Proven background in the Insurance industry. Deep understanding of insurance lifecycles (Policy, Claims, or Billing) is essential.

Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and modern frontend frameworks (ideally ReactJS). Familiarity with streaming services (e.g., Kafka) and workflow automation is highly preferred.

Delivery Model: Experience with milestone-based delivery and deploying software to external customer environments.

Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of managing high-stakes customer relationships and technical escalations.
