- Supervise and manage day-to-day electrical installation activities at the project site.
- Execute electrical works as per approved drawings, specifications, BOQ, and project requirements.
- Study and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Plan daily work activities and effectively allocate manpower to meet project targets.
- Supervise electricians, technicians, helpers, and subcontractors to ensure proper workmanship.
- Plan daily and weekly site activities and allocate work to supervisors, electricians, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, civil teams, and other MEP services.
- Ensure proper installation of cables, cable trays, conduits, panels, lighting, power, earthing, and other electrical systems.
- Monitor material requirements, coordinate with stores/procurement, and control material wastage.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
- Carry out and coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment.
- Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site safety rules.
- Monitor daily progress and prepare daily/weekly site reports, measurements, and work records.
- Identify site issues, technical discrepancies, and delays and report them promptly to the Project Manager.
- Prepare and maintain inspection requests, test reports, as-built information, snag lists, and project documentation.
- Ensure timely completion and handover of assigned electrical works while maintaining quality, safety, productivity, and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in electrical contracting, building services, industrial, commercial, residential projects
- Knowledge of electrical installation practices, drawings, testing, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements.
- Candidate must have good communication skills.
Desired Experience
- Diploma: 2–5 years of relevant experience.
- B.E./B.Tech: 1–2 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates with experience in electrical contracting and site execution will be preferred.
- Freshers can also apply.
- Salary will be negotiable for an experienced candidate.
Technical Skills
- Good knowledge of electrical installation and construction practices.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and Single Line Diagrams (SLDs).
- Knowledge of cable sizing, cable routing, earthing, lighting, power distribution, and electrical panels.
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and BOQ.
- Ability to use AutoCAD for drawing/ reading/reviewing electrical drawings.
- Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and project documentation.
- Knowledge of electrical testing instruments and procedures.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
