Job Role: 2D Designer (Interior) – Atlas Kitchen & Interiors
Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong 2D Designer to create accurate and execution-ready drawings for residential interior projects. The role focuses on transforming design concepts into precise working drawings that support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings including:
- Floor plans
- Furniture layouts
- Elevations & sections
- Modular kitchen & wardrobe drawings
- Develop working drawings for execution (civil, electrical, ceiling, and furniture details)
- Convert design concepts and briefs into AutoCAD drawings with high accuracy
- Create shop drawings and joinery details for manufacturing
- Coordinate with:
- 3D designers
- Project managers
- Site execution team
- Ensure all drawings match site measurements and client requirements
- Revise drawings based on client feedback and internal reviews
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing standards
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Good understanding of:
- Interior materials
- Modular kitchen systems
- Furniture detailing
- Ability to read and interpret design layouts and technical drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma / BSc / Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- 0–3 years of experience (Freshers with strong AutoCAD skills can apply)
- Basic knowledge of 3D tools like SketchUp is an added advantage
