ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is a full-time, on-site CA Articleship role based in South Delhi, India. The CA Article Associate will assist in statutory and tax audits, including planning, execution, documentation, and preparation of working papers. Responsibilities include supporting accounting and bookkeeping assignments, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves working on direct and indirect tax matters, such as return preparation, computation of tax liabilities, documentation for assessments, and assisting in GST-related work. The role also includes coordinating with clients for information, participating in internal reviews, and contributing to better financial control activities.
QUALIFICATIONS/ELIGIBILTY:
- Currently pursuing Chartered Accountant with Articleship eligibility as per ICAI regulations.
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and familiarity with Indian Accounting Standards and basic understanding of global standards.
- Good knowledge of direct and indirect taxation concepts, including income tax and GST, with willingness to learn complex tax structures.
- Basic understanding of audit procedures, internal controls, and risk assessment, with an interest in statutory and tax audits.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; exposure to accounting or audit software is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to manage time, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a structured, fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and continuous professional learning.
- Prior internship or practical exposure in audit, accounting, or taxation will be considered a plus.
