Job Designation: Assistant Director (Placement)
Job Summary:
The incumbent will provide strategic leadership for all placement-related activities of the designated School. The role involves building and sustaining strong relationships with national and international industry partners to secure competitive placements aligned with those offered at top B-Schools. The incumbent will work closely with the Dean/Director to formulate and implement placement policies, strengthen industry engagement, and enhance student employability through internships, live projects, and corporate exposure initiatives.
Lead and manage all placement activities for MBA and related programs
Build and strengthen relationships with national and international corporate partners
Target high-quality placement profiles comparable to those offered by leading B-Schools
Formulate and implement placement policies in coordination with the Dean/Director
Strengthen summer placements, internships, live projects, periodic projects, and corporate engagements
Organize company visits, industrial visits, guest lectures, CEO series, and corporate interaction programs
Develop and manage placement brochures, presentations, and promotional material
Visit companies for promotion of students and academic programs
Build industry interfaces for training programs, corporate projects, and skill development initiatives
Educational Qualifications
Professional Certifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in industry/corporate organizations in which 2–3 years at Middle Management level in Marketing and/or HR
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in educational institutions or the service sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities
Strategic thinking and policy formulation skills
Industry engagement and corporate liaison expertise
Leadership and team coordination capabilities
Ability to work closely with academic leadership and external stakeholders
