A Quality Control (QC) Assistant inspects products and materials, conducts tests, and documents data to ensure they meet company safety and manufacturing standards. They work on the frontline to identify defects and prevent substandard items from reaching customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Testing: Inspect and test raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products against established safety and operational benchmarks.
- Defect Identification: Spot faults, process deviations, or non-conformities, and report them immediately to the QC Supervisor.
- Documentation: Log testing results, maintain accurate quality records, and prepare compliance reports.
- Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain testing tools and machinery to ensure accurate results.
- Process Enforcement: Collaborate with production teams to ensure all safety and quality protocols are followed on the floor.
