*Role Description:* The Safety Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Nellore, responsible for supporting and monitoring day-to-day health, safety, and environmental practices across client facilities. The role includes conducting regular safety inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The Safety Officer will investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions. Daily tasks also involve delivering safety training and toolbox talks, promoting a proactive safety culture, coordinating with site management and workers on safety issues, and maintaining accurate HSE documentation and records.
*Qualifications*
- Designation: Safety Officer
- Experience: 7 to 10 years [Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Thermal Power Plant (Preferably 500 MW & Above)]
- Qualification: Btech/BE in Engineering
- Certification in: DIS/ADIS/PDIS/NEBOSH [AICTE/SCTE&VT Approved]

*Key Skills/Requirements*
- Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Occupational Health knowledge, with the ability to apply HSE standards on-site.
- Candidates should possess Accident Investigation skills, including root cause analysis and incident reporting.
- Candidates should possess Security awareness and risk assessment capabilities relevant to workplace safety.
- Candidates should possess Safety Training skills, with experience conducting safety briefings, workshops, and awareness programs.
- Relevant safety certifications or diplomas (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, industrial safety courses) are highly beneficial.
- Experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills, with the ability to influence safe behaviors at all levels.
- Ability to work on-site in Nellore, collaborate with diverse teams, and respond promptly to safety-related situations.
