Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and organized Accountant cum Personal Assistant (PA) to support daily accounting activities and provide administrative assistance to management. The role involves 30% accounting responsibilities and 70% personal assistant and coordination responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Responsibilities (30%)
- Handle basic accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain invoices, vouchers, bills, and financial records.
- Assist in preparing reports, expense statements, and payment follow-ups.
- Coordinate with banks, vendors, and clients regarding payments.
- Support GST, TDS, and other accounting-related documentation.
- Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance, including:
- GST filings: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C
- Income Tax and Professional Tax (PT) filings
- Coordinate with Tax Consultants and Auditors for IT returns and audits
Banking & Payroll Support
- Perform bank reconciliation for bank statements and credit card transactions
- Handle banking activities such as RTGS / NEFT, cash deposits, and JV entries in Tally
- Assist with pre-audit of payroll and employee settlements
Expense & Verification
- Verify purchase orders with purchase bills
- Verify all expenses including transportation and conveyance allowances
- Cash verification for all units
- Verify advance payments for purchases, salaries, and unit expenses
Personal Assistant Responsibilities (70%)
- Manage schedules, appointments, meetings, and follow-ups for management.
- Draft emails, letters, and official documents.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Handle calls, correspondence, and day-to-day office coordination.
- Maintain confidential documents and records.
- Assist in travel arrangements, meeting arrangements, and administrative tasks.
- Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting and MS Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- 2 WHEELER DRIVING KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST
Qualifications & Skills
- M.Com graduate with 6 months to 1 year of experience.
- Prior experience in accounting or PA/admin support is preferred.
Working Conditions
- Office-based role
- Working hours: 09:30 AM – 07:00 PM
- Occasional overtime during peak work periods
