Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer (Fresher) who has completed relevant internships and is eager to begin a full-time career. The candidate will support the design team in developing concepts, preparing drawings, coordinating with vendors, and assisting in project execution.
Key Responsibilities1. Design Support
- Assist in creating design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
- Prepare 2D drawings, space plans, and 3D visualizations using design software.
- Support senior designers with design detailing and material selection.
2. Client & Project Coordination
- Participate in client meetings to understand requirements.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, design documentation, and presentation materials.
- Visit project sites for measurements, supervision, and progress tracking (with guidance).
3. Material & Vendor Coordination
- Research and source materials, finishes, and furniture.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors when required.
- Maintain sample libraries and design references.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare working drawings, layouts, and design revisions.
- Maintain project files, drawing logs, and documentation for ongoing projects.
- Support team in preparing project progress reports.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture.
- Internship experience in interior design firms is preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Photoshop, or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and color theory.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
