Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and patient-focused General Dentist to join our growing dental and facial aesthetics clinic in Pallavaram, Chennai.
The ideal candidate should have good clinical skills, excellent communication with patients, and a strong commitment to providing quality dental care.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental consultations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Carry out routine general dental procedures including restorations, scaling, extractions, and other basic procedures.
- Perform Root Canal Treatment and prosthetic procedures based on experience.
- Interpret dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Explain treatment options, procedures, and associated costs clearly to patients.
- Maintain proper infection control and sterilisation protocols.
- Ensure a comfortable and positive patient experience.
- Coordinate with dental assistants and other clinic staff.
- Maintain high standards of clinical ethics and patient safety.
Requirements
- BDS degree from a recognised dental college.
- Valid registration with the Dental Council of India / respective State Dental Council.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong clinical knowledge and willingness to learn.
- Previous clinical experience is preferred but freshers with good clinical skills may also apply.
- Professional, punctual, and patient-friendly approach.
