Manager / Senior Manager – Export Marketing

Qualification:
- B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical)
- MBA (International Business)
Experience: 12–15 Years
CTC Budget: Up to ₹19–20 LPA
Product Exposure Required:
Experience in Stainless Steel Seamless Pipes with exposure to grades such as 304L, 316L, N06625, and Duplex 2205.
Key Responsibilities :----
Business Development & Export Sales
- Identify and develop high-growth international markets across the Middle East, Europe, USA, and Southeast Asia.
- Appoint, manage, and evaluate overseas agents, distributors, stockists, and channel partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international EPC contractors, traders, and industrial end-users.
- Track global infrastructure, desalination, chemical, oil & gas, and energy projects to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop long-term relationships with international customers to secure repeat orders and annual contracts.
Vendor Registration & Compliance
- Lead vendor registration and approval processes with international clients, including state-owned enterprises and large EPC organizations.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, and Technical teams to ensure compliance with international standards and customer requirements.
- Support certification and qualification activities required for global market penetration.
Technical & Commercial Management
- Review RFQs, technical specifications, and customer requirements for stainless steel seamless and welded pipe products.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Finance teams to formulate competitive pricing strategies considering fluctuations in nickel, chrome, and other raw material indices.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, payment conditions, credit terms, and delivery schedules with international customers.
- Manage export contracts and ensure successful order execution.
Tendering & Export Documentation
- Lead preparation and submission of international government and private-sector tenders.
- Apply strong knowledge of international trade practices, including Incoterms such as FOB, CIF, CFR, and EXW.
- Review and manage export documentation, including:
- Letters of Credit (LC)
- Bills of Lading (BL)
- Certificates of Origin (COO)
- Shipping and customs documentation
Industry Representation
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, industrial exhibitions, metal expos, and business conferences.
- Enhance brand visibility and develop strategic business networks globally.
Technical Competencies
- Strong understanding of stainless steel grades including 304, 304L, 316, 316L, Duplex 2205, and Nickel Alloy grades.
- In-depth knowledge of seamless and welded pipe manufacturing processes and applications.
- Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, ASME, EN, DIN, and API.
- Strong understanding of international logistics, customs regulations, export compliance, and cross-border risk management.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Additional foreign language proficiency will be an added advantage.
- Strong B2B sales, relationship management, and contract negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen and market development capabilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer meetings, project discussions, and trade exhibitions.
