A Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is a frontline hospital doctor who provides round-the-clock clinical care. They act as the first point of contact for patients, handle medical emergencies, assist specialists, and manage ward duties.
Core Responsibilities
- Emergency Response: Provide immediate assessment, stabilization, and initial treatment for patients in trauma or critical condition.
- Patient Management: Conduct routine ward rounds, track patient progress, and review daily investigations.
- Consultant Coordination: Assist senior consultants and specialists during procedures or surgeries.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient medical records, including admission and discharge summaries.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
