PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure that Customer Premise Equipment requirements for MPLS, Internet, and any other relevant products or solutions are supported
Develop and maintain the CPE matrix and backlog
CPE Lifecycle Management
Facilitate process for new CPE introductions and define requirements for CPE system solution
Submit use cases to prospective vendors under consideration
Assist with CPE budgeting and forecasting
Define CPE roadmap with the guidance of leadership, BU CPE strategy, for CPE refresh, and other programs that optimize the overall CPE portfolio.
Develop uCPE strategy
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews with vendors to understand the upcoming Roadmap of our key suppliers
Develop and maintain regular communication with Solution Engineering relative to CPE roadmap, introductions, and provide training for Solution Engineering
Main areas of focus:
Underlay connectivity such as MPLS and Tata s IZO Internet WAN
CPEs
NFV and VNF
Supplier chain management
Project management
TO QUALIFY for this career opportunity candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree in Technology or Business with 2+ years of experience in roles where you have become experienced in product management or development, involving telecommunications or IT services or operations.
Strong working knowledge and awareness of Networking: Private (MPLS, Ethernet) and Public (IP telecoms products, architecture, and features. Experience with SDWAN, Security, device virtualization would be a plus.
Experience in business case creation.
Problem solving and resourcefulness in conditions of ambiguity, defining approaches and processes where none exist. Professional attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills able to present and influence internal to the company, and with external partners and customer.
