Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in selecting frames and lenses based on prescription and preferences
- Take accurate facial measurements to ensure proper fitting of eyewear
- Fit, adjust, and repair eyeglasses for optimal comfort and vision
- Interpret optical prescriptions and coordinate with optometrists/ophthalmologists
- Educate patients on proper use and care of eyewear
- Maintain inventory of frames, lenses, and optical accessories
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the optical store
- Handle billing and basic sales processes
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification: Plus Two / Diploma (Optical or related field preferred)
- Prior experience in an optical store or eye hospital is an advantage
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic knowledge of lenses, frames, and optical measurements
- Attention to detail and ability to handle patients professionally
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in frame styling and sales
- Knowledge of lens types (single vision, bifocal, progressive)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹29,333.48 per month
