An HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) bottle-making machine operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting extrusion blow moulding machines. They load raw materials, set precise temperatures and pressures, and conduct quality checks to ensure bottles meet specifications while minimising waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Adjust machine parameters like parison thickness, extruder temperature, and cycle times based on bottle volume and design.
- Material Handling: Load HDPE granules into the hopper and ensure proper feeding to the extruder screw.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished bottles for defects such as wall thickness variation, flash, short moulding, or leakage.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve mechanical or process issues, clean molds, and perform routine maintenance
- Qualifications & Skills Required
- Experience: 1 to 5+ years working in a plastic blow molding or FMCG manufacturing facility.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Extrusion Blow Molding (EBM) and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Education: A diploma, ITI certification, or 12th pass with mechanical aptitude is highly preferred.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
