Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Event Sales Manager / Senior Event Sales Executive with a strong background in hotel sales, wedding sales, luxury hospitality, MICE, or event management.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating business, nurturing client relationships, building strategic hotel and venue partnerships, and converting high-value leads into successful luxury weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations.
This role requires excellent presentation skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to deliver personalized event solutions for premium clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Generate and convert leads for destination weddings, luxury weddings, corporate events, MICE, and social celebrations.
- Build relationships with wedding clients, corporates, travel companies, event agencies, luxury brands, and referral partners.
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, strategic partnerships, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
2. Luxury Event Consulting
Present complete event solutions including:
- Destination Wedding Planning
- Luxury Wedding Experiences
- Corporate Events & Conferences
- MICE Events
- Hospitality & Guest Experience
- Venue Selection
- Décor & Styling Concepts
- Entertainment & Artist Management
- Guest Logistics & Accommodation
Recommend customized solutions based on client requirements, vision, and budget.
3. Client Presentations & Proposal Development
- Conduct discovery meetings with clients (online and in person).
- Prepare premium proposals, budgets, presentations, and event concepts.
- Deliver engaging presentations that showcase VStar Exultation's expertise and luxury hospitality standards.
- Upsell premium services and maximize event value.
4. Hotel & Venue Partnerships
- Build strong relationships with luxury hotels, resorts, venues, and hospitality partners across India and international destinations.
- Negotiate room blocks, wedding packages, event spaces, banquet pricing, and exclusive offers.
- Maintain an updated database of preferred venues and strategic partners.
- Coordinate venue inspections, destination visits, and hotel showcases.
5. Client Relationship Management
- Deliver exceptional client service throughout the sales journey.
- Maintain regular follow-ups and relationship-building activities.
- Handle negotiations professionally while ensuring a premium customer experience.
- Ensure seamless handover to the planning and operations team after confirmation.
- Develop long-term relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with:
- Wedding Planning Team
- Hospitality Team
- Décor & Design Team
- Production Team
- Vendor Partners
- Finance Team
Ensure all proposals are commercially viable and operationally executable.
7. Market Intelligence & Business Growth
- Stay updated with wedding, hospitality, luxury lifestyle, and corporate event trends.
- Identify new market opportunities and revenue streams.
- Monitor competitor activities and emerging destinations.
- Recommend innovative sales strategies to drive business growth.
8. Reporting & Performance
- Maintain an active CRM and sales pipeline.
- Track leads, conversions, revenue, and profitability.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports.
- Forecast future business opportunities and sales trends.
