- Assist senior chefs in food preparation and cooking activities.
- Prepare ingredients such as vegetables, meats, sauces, and garnishes according to recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
- Ensure proper storage of food items following food safety guidelines.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support mise en place (pre-preparation) for daily kitchen operations.
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors about shortages.
- Assist in receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies and raw materials.
- Help reduce food wastage by following proper handling and storage procedures.
- Ensure all food is prepared and served within the required time frame.
- Maintain personal grooming and hygiene standards as per company policy.
- Follow instructions from Sous Chef, Chef de Partie, and Head Chef.
- Assist in kitchen closing and opening procedures.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and fire regulations in the workplace.
- Participate in regular kitchen cleaning and deep-cleaning schedules.
- Support banquet, catering, and special event food preparations when required.
- Report any equipment malfunction or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
- Maintain discipline and professionalism within the kitchen team.
- Continuously learn and improve culinary skills and kitchen knowledge.
Pay: ₹10,086.29 - ₹25,148.60 per month
