SALES COORDINATOR (Pipes & Fittings)

About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and responsible Sales Coordinator to coordinate between customers, Sales Team, Stores, Dispatch and Accounts and ensure that every customer order is handled smoothly from order confirmation until delivery and payment collection.
The candidate must have good customer interaction and follow-up skills, along with basic knowledge of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with customers after the Sales Team receives and confirms the order.
- Coordinate with the Sales Team, Stores, Dispatch and Accounts for smooth order processing.
- Follow up with customers regarding order details, requirements and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Stores/Warehouse regarding product availability and order readiness.
- Coordinate with Dispatch for timely dispatch and delivery.
- Keep customers informed about order status, dispatch and expected delivery.
- Follow up with customers for delivery confirmation and resolve coordination-related issues.
- Coordinate with Accounts regarding invoices, outstanding amounts and payment status.
- Regularly follow up with customers for payment collection and outstanding dues.
- Maintain proper records of orders, deliveries, invoices, payments and pending follow-ups.
- Track pending orders and ensure timely completion.
- Escalate delays or customer issues to the concerned Sales/Management team.
- Maintain good professional relationships with customers.
- Prepare basic reports for pending orders, dispatches, deliveries, and outstanding payments.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Sales Coordination, Customer Coordination, Order Processing, Sales Support or a similar role.
- Experience coordinating with customers, sales teams, stores/warehouse and dispatch is preferred.
- Customer interaction and follow-up skills are mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of Accounts, Invoicing, Outstanding Payments and Collections is required.
- Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
- Should be organized and capable of handling multiple orders simultaneously.
- Experience in Water Tanks, Pipes & Fittings, Plumbing Products or related building-material products will be an added advantage.
- Tamil is mandatory.
- English communication is required.
- Hindi and other languages are preferred.
- Should be comfortable making customer calls and regular follow-ups.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Candidates residing in and around Oragadam/Ezhichur will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners are strongly preferred.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate should be a proactive and responsible coordinator who takes ownership of each customer order and follows it through until successful delivery and payment collection.
Experience in the water tank, pipes and fittings industry will help the candidate understand products, customer requirements and the sales-to-delivery process more effectively.
The candidate should be comfortable coordinating with customers and multiple internal departments while ensuring that no order, delivery or payment follow-up is missed.
Compensation
₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month, based on experience and suitability.
