Job Summary
FOID is looking for a hands-on and people-focused Associate HR Manager to manage day-to-day HR operations and support the organization in building a strong, professional and positive work culture.
The role will be responsible for the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, payroll coordination, compliance and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit.
- Handle manpower planning, sourcing, interviews, selection and offer management.
- Manage joining formalities, onboarding, employee documentation and confirmation.
- Maintain attendance, leave records and provide accurate inputs for payroll processing.
- Manage performance management, KRAs/KPIs, appraisals and employee reviews.
- Implement and maintain HR policies, processes and SOPs.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace concerns.
- Drive employee engagement, training and team-building initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, PF, ESI, professional tax and other statutory requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HR reports and MIS.
- Coordinate with management and department heads on manpower and employee-related matters.
- Support a positive and professional FOID culture through effective communication and employee engagement.
- Oversee basic HR administration and office/showroom employee-related requirements.
Requirements
- 4–5 years of experience in HR operations, HR Generalist or HR Manager role.
- A degree or masters in Human Resources or management would be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, payroll, attendance, leave and performance management.
- Good understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently manage HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and HRMS platforms.
- Experience in interior design, construction, manufacturing, retail or a similar industry will be an advantage.Key Qualities
