Job Overview
Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled is looking for an experienced Senior Website Manager to manage and maintain its websites and web platforms.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in WordPress/CMS, website development, website management, SEO, analytics, hosting, security, and performance optimization. The candidate should be capable of independently managing website projects and coordinating with multiple internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Samarthanam websites and associated web platforms.
- Handle regular website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Develop new web pages, features, and microsites as required.
- Coordinate with Communications, Design, IT, and Programme teams on website requirements.
- Ensure websites are responsive, secure, user-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Monitor website performance, SEO, analytics, and overall user experience.
- Manage website backups, security updates, domains, and hosting requirements.
- Improve website accessibility in line with WCAG guidelines.
- Identify and recommend improvements across the organization's web ecosystem.
Eligibility & Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in website development and management is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress/CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP.
- Experience managing multiple websites, hosting, and domains.
- Good understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and website performance optimization.
- Understanding of web accessibility and responsive design is preferred.
- Ability to independently manage website projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
