Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic, experienced, and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our solar product sales. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in B2B/B2C sales, team management, and a solid understanding of the solar or electrical sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and expand our customer base.
- Identify and engage with new business prospects including distributors, dealers, institutions, and end-users.
- Lead a team of sales executives, assign targets, and provide training and motivation.
- Coordinate with technical and installation teams to deliver customer solutions.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing strategies.
- Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports for management.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and local marketing activities.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in sales, preferably in the solar or electrical industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CRM software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Knowledge of MNRE policies, solar EPC models, and net metering will be an advantage.
- Ability to manage a sales team and work independently under pressure.
- Willingness to travel across regions as per business requirements.
