Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PHP Laravel Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications that support pharmaceutical business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core PHP, Laravel, CodeIgniter, and MySQL, with experience working in a pharmaceutical environment and developing secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using Core PHP, Laravel, and CodeIgniter.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance applications following the MVC (Model-View-Controller) architecture.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and overall system efficiency.
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, test, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX designers, business users, and other developers.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices.
- Implement application security measures and maintain data integrity.
- Work with Git for version control, deployment, and release management.
- Support existing applications by implementing enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Core PHP.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Laravel Framework.
- Experience working with CodeIgniter Framework.
- Strong understanding of MVC Architecture and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Excellent knowledge of MySQL database design, query optimization, indexing, and stored procedures.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
- Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
- Familiarity with Composer and dependency management.
- Good understanding of web application security principles and best practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS or other cloud hosting environments.
- Knowledge of Linux server administration.
- Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party APIs.
- Familiarity with deployment, server maintenance, and application monitoring.
- Experience working with ERP, CRM, or business management applications within the pharmaceutical industry will be an added advantage.
