We are looking for an experienced Jewellery Workshop Manager / Production Supervisor with strong hands-on expertise in jewellery repairs, finishing, restoration, polishing, and workshop management.
The ideal candidate should possess deep technical understanding of jewellery craftsmanship, precious metals, gemstones, quality assessment, and workshop operations while maintaining high standards of workmanship and discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Workshop & Repairs, Production Management - Supervise daily workshop operations and workflow - Manage karigars, polishers, setters, and support staff - Ensure timely completion of repair and production work
Technical Expertise - Hands-on experience in jewellery repairs, polishing, soldering, finishing, restoration, and quality enhancement - Strong understanding of gold, silver, platinum, alloys, and metal behaviour - Knowledge of all types of stones and their behaviour. Stone tightening, setting safety, and delicate jewellery handling Quality Control - Inspect jewellery for craftsmanship, finishing quality, durability, and detailing - Ensure strict quality standards before final delivery - Assess structural strength and repair feasibility
Operations & Coordination - Maintain workshop discipline, efficiency, and cleanliness - Track tools, materials, and workflow status - Coordinate with customer handling and design teams when required Requirements - Proven experience in jewellery
workshop supervision or production management - Strong practical knowledge of jewellery making and repair techniques - Understanding of gemstones, settings, finishing, and polishing processes - Excellent eye for detailing and precision workmanship - Ability to manage craftsmen and maintain production standards
