Job Summary
The Hostess is responsible for welcoming customers, creating a positive first impression, and ensuring smooth customer flow within the outlet. The role includes greeting guests, assisting with seating and order coordination, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining high standards of hospitality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service.
- Guide guests to available seating areas and assist with queue management during busy hours.
- Explain menu items, sweets, snacks, and special offers to customers.
- Coordinate with the billing, kitchen, and service teams for smooth customer experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and basic complaints professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
- Support festive promotions, special events, and seasonal product launches.
- Assist in managing reservations or bulk order customer coordination when required.
- Ensure customers leave satisfied and encourage repeat visits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Pleasant personality with a customer-friendly attitude.
- Basic knowledge of hospitality and customer handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail or food service environment.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional behavior.
- Basic English and local language communication preferred.
- Prior experience in hospitality, café, restaurant, or retail customer service is an advantage.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Intermediate / High School qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience in hospitality, restaurant, café, or retail service preferred. Freshers with good communication skills may also apply.
Working Conditions
- Rotational shifts including weekends and festivals.
- Standing for extended periods may be required.
- Customer-facing role in a premium sweets and café environment.
Performance Expectations
- Deliver excellent guest experience consistently.
- Maintain positive customer interactions and professionalism.
Support team coordination and efficient outlet operations.
Pay: ₹13,800.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
