Job Overview:
The Engineer II, Software Development role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications with a primary focus on front-end architecture using Angular. This position requires deep front-end expertise combined with practical back-end development experience in .NET and deployment within AWS cloud environments.
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of front-end development experience and operates comfortably across the full application stack, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, performant, and cloud-native solutions.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop modern, responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript
Implement scalable front-end architectures, reusable component libraries, and state management patterns
Collaborate with product, business and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using .NET Core / .NET
Deploy, monitor, and support applications within AWS environments
Ensure application security standards, including authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT)
Optimize performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices
Participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across front-end and back-end layers

Requirements:
7+ years of professional front-end development experience
Strong expertise in Angular and TypeScript
Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
3+ years of experience developing applications using .NET Core / .NET (C#)
Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS
Solid understanding of web security, performance optimization, and responsive design
Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines
Preferences:
Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
Experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and CloudFront
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, xUnit)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
