We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations for CNC Busbar and Sheet Metal Component production. The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and continuously improving production activities while ensuring adherence to export-quality standards, productivity targets, cost control, and on-time delivery commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Execution
Plan, organize, and monitor daily production schedules to achieve delivery targets.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and resources.
Coordinate with Sales, Design, Procurement, and Quality departments for smooth production flow.
Monitor production KPIs including productivity, efficiency, rejection rates, and machine utilization.
CNC Busbar Manufacturing:
Manage production of copper and aluminium busbars using CNC punching, bending, cutting, and processing machines.
Interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
Ensure dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and compliance with international standards.
Optimize tooling, machine setup, and process parameters.
Sheet Metal Manufacturing:
Oversee fabrication processes including laser cutting, CNC punching, bending, assembly, and finishing.
Ensure adherence to drawing specifications and customer requirements.
Improve process flow and reduce manufacturing cycle times.
Quality Management:
Ensure compliance with export-quality standards and customer specifications.
Implement quality systems and process controls to minimize defects and rework.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with quality teams for inspections, audits, and documentation.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor supervisors, operators, and shop-floor personnel.
Develop training programs to enhance productivity and skill levels.
Foster a culture of safety, discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement initiatives.
Reduce production costs through process optimization and waste elimination.
Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Maintenance & Safety
Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Ensure safe operation of machinery and compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain statutory and company safety standards.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹69,349.17 per month
