We are looking for a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment. Training will be provided for interns.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and beverages (espresso, cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, etc.)
- Operate coffee machines and equipment efficiently
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Greet customers and take orders politely
- Suggest menu items and upsell when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and seating area
- Handle billing and basic cash/card transactions
- Follow hygiene and food safety standards
- Assist in opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Barista in a café or similar setup
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso extraction
- Ability to handle coffee machines and grinders
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with specialty coffee
- Basic latte art skills
- Experience with POS billing systems
- Passion for coffee and café culture
