Purpose
Builds intuitive, high‑performance visual dashboards that enable operators, supervisors, and plant managers to make fast, data‑driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive Visual Factory dashboards (KPI trees, OEE views, production trends, alarms).
- Implement role‑based views for operators, supervisors, quality, and management.
- Ensure real‑time data rendering and smooth user experience for shop‑floor environments.
- Apply manufacturing UX principles (clear status colors, minimal clicks, high readability on large screens).
- Integrate UI components with backend APIs and streaming data services.
- Implement data visualization best practices (charts, drill‑downs, thresholds, alerts).
- Ensure cross‑browser and large‑display compatibility (control rooms, shop‑floor TVs).
- Collaborate with QA for UI testability and defect resolution.
- Optimize UI performance for high‑frequency data refresh.
- Maintain UI standards, reusable components, and style guides
1. Lead the ui/ux design team in conceptualizing and developing user centric designs for web and mobile applications.
2. Define the creative vision for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
3. Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver design solutions that meet project objectives.
4. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and enhance user experiences.
5. Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions effectively.
6. Mentor and coach junior designers, providing guidance and support to foster their growth and development.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
1. Proficiency in ui/ux design tools such as adobe creative suite, sketch, figma, etc.
2. Strong understanding of user centered design principles and methodologies.
3. Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
4. Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into innovative design solutions.
5. Experience in creating responsive designs for various screen sizes and devices.
6. Solid communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
