- Sample & Report Transport: Coordinate the collection and safe delivery of biomedical samples (e.g., blood, tissue) and diagnostic reports to and from clinics, hospitals, and testing labs.
- Cold-Chain Management: Ensure temperature-sensitive materials (reagents, samples) are stored and transported under regulated temperatures using validated cold-chain packaging.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels of laboratory consumables, hazardous materials, and testing kits. Generate alerts to prevent stockouts.
- Documentation & Compliance: Manage logistics documents (Airway bills, delivery challans, customs/import paperwork). Ensure adherence to hazardous material (Hazmat) shipping regulations and biohazard safety standards.
- Vendor & Courier Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and couriers to ensure prompt reverse pickups and delivery SLAs.
- Software Integration: Track shipments in real time. Log data using laboratory and supply chain management systems (e.g., LIS/LIMS, ERP).
Key Requirements & Skill
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Life Sciences.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of biosafety, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and biomedical sample transport standards.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in supply chain software, inventory databases, and Microsoft Excel.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and strong cross-functional communication.
