Asst Manager Project
Project Coordination Assists the Project Manager in planning, executing, and closing projects. Maintains project schedules, tracks milestones, and monitors deliverables. Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas, and documents action items and decisions.
Documentation and Reporting Maintains comprehensive project documentation including plans, status reports, risk logs, and change requests. Prepares regular progress updates for stakeholders and leadership. Ensures all project records are accurate, current, and accessible.
Stakeholder Communication Serves as a point of contact for project team members and stakeholders. Facilitates information flow between parties and escalates issues appropriately. Distributes project communications and ensures stakeholders remain informed of progress and changes.
Resource and Budget Support Assists in tracking project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation. Monitors project costs against approved budgets and flags variances. Coordinates resource scheduling and availability with team members.
Risk and Issue Management Identifies potential project risks and issues. Maintains risk and issue logs and supports development of mitigation strategies. Monitors outstanding issues and follows up on resolution actions.
Quality Assurance Supports quality control processes by reviewing deliverables against requirements. Assists in identifying gaps or deficiencies and coordinates corrective actions. Ensures project outputs meet established standards.
QualificationsEducation and Experience Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. 8 to 10 years of project coordination or assistant project management experience. Exposure to commercial real estate, construction, or facilities management preferred.
Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project). Experience with project management software and collaboration tools. Familiarity with budgeting and scheduling principles. Basic understanding of construction or facilities operations beneficial.
Core Competencies Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Detail-oriented with commitment to accuracy. Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to identifying issues. Ability to work effectively in team environments and build relationships across organizational levels.
