Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair surveillance systems across commercial and residential sites. The ideal candidate should have technical expertise in electronic security systems and a strong commitment to safety and quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related security equipment
- Run cables (Cat6, coaxial, etc.) through ceilings, walls, and underground if needed
- Perform site surveys to determine optimal camera placement
- Troubleshoot and repair camera issues, network connectivity, and power supply problems
- Provide routine maintenance and system upgrades
- Ensure all installations comply with safety and quality standards
- Maintain documentation for installations, service calls, and client interactions
- Educate customers on how to operate and maintain the system
- Collaborate with other technicians, electricians, or IT personnel on larger projects
Qualifications and Skills:
- ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in CCTV installation and maintenance
- Familiarity with IP cameras, DVR/NVR setup, and networking basics
- Knowledge of access control, alarm systems, or biometric systems is a plus
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and use tools like drills, testers, crimpers, etc.
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork
- Basic computer and mobile app knowledge (for configuring systems)
Work Conditions:
- Field-based work; travel to client sites
- May involve working at heights (e.g., ladders, rooftops)
- Must be able to lift and carry tools and equipment
