Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive sales growth, expand distribution networks, develop key business partnerships, and strengthen the market presence of Bliss Tree products. The ideal candidate should have experience in FMCG, food products, retail distribution, or channel sales.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across retail, wholesale, institutional, and distributor channels.
- Expand market reach and increase product availability in assigned territories.
- Generate leads and convert prospects into long-term business partners.
- Develop strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Distributor & Channel Management
- Appoint and manage distributors, dealers, and super stockists.
- Build strong relationships with key distributors and retail partners.
- Monitor distributor performance and ensure sales growth.
- Support distributors with promotional activities and sales initiatives.
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Conduct market visits and customer meetings regularly.
- Negotiate pricing, trade schemes, and commercial agreements.
- Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.
Market Intelligence
- Analyze competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Gather customer feedback and provide recommendations for product improvements.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging consumer trends.
Key Account Management
- Develop relationships with modern trade outlets, supermarkets, institutions, and export customers.
- Maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure smooth business operations.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Marketing, and Logistics teams.
- Present business performance and market insights to management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
- MBA (Marketing) preferred.
- 3–8 years of experience in FMCG, Food Industry, Distribution Sales, or Business Development.
- Strong knowledge of distributor management and channel sales.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and CRM tools.
