Hiring : Senior Accountant
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Accountant to join our growing organization. The role involves managing end-to-end accounting operations across multiple retail outlets and leading an accounts team to ensure smooth financial processes.
Position: Senior Accountant
Office Location: Currently at Dalhousie, Kolkata (Office will be shifted to Salt Lake Sector V within the next month)
Work Locations: Kolkata & Hooghly (Travel Required)
Salary: Up to ₹35,000 CTC per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage complete accounting operations for multiple retail outlets.
- Lead, guide, and supervise the accounts team.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, ledger management, and account reconciliations.
- Handle GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and tax-related matters.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and management reports.
- Monitor cash flow, vendor payments, receivables, and inventory accounting.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
- Implement and maintain financial controls and accounting procedures.
- Travel regularly across Kolkata and Hooghly locations to monitor and support accounting functions.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum Graduate (B.Com preferred).
- At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Kolkata and Hooghly locations.
