Sales –
1. To handle all export and domestic territory business.
2. To understand the assigned domestic and export sales territories and scope of work in detail.
3. To agree on the sales target with the reporting manager.
4. To plan for the target achievement, including the number and value of the inquiries, travel plans, sales budget in coordination with the reporting manager.
5. To execute the agreed plans to achieve targets.
6. To make travel plans for customer visits after approval of the reporting manager.
7. To involve the reporting manager in key project inquiry discussions to strengthen conversion and strategic positioning.
8. To follow up with customers for orders conversion and leads generation.
9. To coordinate with customers to obtain complete technical inputs for accurate offer preparation by the FEED team.
10. To coordinate with the FEED team for estimation and prepare offers with necessary approvals for submission to customers.
11. To engage the customer in technical discussions to ensure clarity of scope and avoid future discrepancies.
12. To lead negotiations with customers and finalise orders, including commercial and payment terms.
13. To ensure timely receipt of advance and milestone payments as per agreed contract terms.
14. To maintain continuous engagement with customers post-order and provide structured feedback to the Reporting Manager for escalation.
15. To ensure high customer satisfaction across the entire inquiry-to-execution lifecycle.
16. To achieve sales and inquiry targets as per the plan.
17. To recommend strategic improvements and sales plans to achieve business targets.
Requirements
Skills and Competencies:
1. Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; ability to handle international client interactions.
2. Proven ability to generate new leads and develop business across domestic and export markets.
3. Self-driven and target-oriented with strong ownership of business outcomes.
4. Extensive experience in pharmaceutical engineering/project sales with a proven track record.
5. Willingness to travel extensively across domestic and international territories.
6. Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
7. Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word) and sales reporting systems.
8. Strong negotiation, commercial understanding, and deal-closing capability.
9. Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams (FEED, execution, management).
Knowledge:
1. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical plant engineering, including dosage forms and formulation facility requirements.
2. Knowledge of domestic and export sales lifecycle, including inquiry handling, estimation, proposal submission, order conversion, and payment follow-up.
3. Familiarity with HVAC systems, cleanroom design, utilities, piping, production equipment, and electrical systems used in pharma projects.
4. Knowledge of FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) coordination and technical proposal preparation.
5. Understanding of high-value project sales, including commercial structuring, contract terms, and execution alignment.
6. Awareness of customer lifecycle management, including pre-sales, execution coordination, and post-sales engagement.
7. Knowledge of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and competition in pharmaceutical engineering projects.
Preferred Knowledge:
1. Familiarity with key pharmaceutical companies, especially in the Middle East region.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
