Welcome to Silk Studios! We are a brand-new retail store located in Bengaluru. We are building an energetic, friendly team from the ground up and are looking for individuals who want to grow with us and deliver an amazing shopping experience to our community.
Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be the face of our store and the backbone of our daily operations. Your main responsibilities will split between delivering great customer service on the sales floor and efficiently managing the billing and cash register counter. Because we are a growing business, you’ll get to wear a few different hats—from helping customers find the perfect item to tracking inventory on our computer system.
Key Responsibilities
- Checkout & Billing: Operate our Point of Sale (POS) computer system to ring up sales, process cash/credit transactions, and handle returns or exchanges accurately.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about our products, and help them find what they need on the sales floor.
- Store Upkeep: Keep the checkout area clean and organized, and help restock shelves or organize displays during quieter hours.
- Inventory & Support: Use our store computer to check stock levels, look up product information, and assist with basic digital inventory logging.
Qualifications & Skills
- Computer Literacy: Strong comfort level using computers, touchscreens, or tablets. (Experience with retail billing or POS software is a huge plus, but we will train the right person!)
- Basic Math: Comfort handling cash, calculating discounts, and giving accurate change.
- Communication: Friendly, outgoing personality with a "customer-first" attitude.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours (including weekends/evenings depending on store hours).
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
