Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Supervisor – Bar Operations to oversee the daily operations of our hotel bar. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent guest service, supervise the bar team, maintain high standards of beverage quality and hygiene, and support the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise the day-to-day operations of the hotel bar.
* Lead, train, and motivate the bar team to deliver excellent service.
* Ensure beverages are prepared and served according to hotel standards.
* Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the bar.
* Monitor inventory, stock levels, and minimize wastage.
* Coordinate with the kitchen and restaurant teams for smooth operations.
* Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
* Ensure compliance with local food safety, hygiene, and excise regulations.
* Assist in preparing staff schedules and assigning daily duties.
* Support the F&B Manager in achieving sales and service targets.
* Ensure accurate billing and cash handling procedures.
Requirements
* Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred).
* Minimum 2–3 years of experience in bar or food & beverage operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Good knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines, and spirits.
* Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management is an advantage.
