In this role, you will be deployed to support one of our premier end-clients, serving as the direct face of our payroll services.

Note on the Role: This is a Contract-to-Hire position through Digichum. You will be working directly with our end-client. Because this role requires direct, daily interaction with corporate clients and stakeholders, exceptional verbal and written communication skills are strictly required.Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary, direct point of contact for the end-client’s payroll inquiries, building trust through clear and empathetic communication.
- Payroll Processing: End-to-end processing of weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payrolls ensuring 100% accuracy and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Data Management: Manage employee onboarding, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, deductions, and tax withholdings within the payroll system.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies or client concerns swiftly and professionally.
- Reporting & Compliance: Generate payroll reports for client leadership and assist with year-end processing (W-2s, tax filings, audits).
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be comfortable presenting data, explaining complex payroll logic to non-finance stakeholders, and managing client expectations.
- Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in payroll processing or payroll account management.
- Technical Savvy: Proficiency with major payroll platforms (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, Gusto) and advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
- Problem Solving: A consultative mindset with the ability to troubleshoot payroll issues calmly under tight deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or a related field (or equivalent experience). CPM (Certified Payroll Professional) designation is a major plus.
