Job description:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) English to teach senior secondary students (Classes XI & XII), preparing them for board examinations while fostering strong language, literature, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the CBSE Board curriculum for Classes XI and XII
- Develop lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments aligned with learning outcomes
- Prepare students thoroughly for board examinations, including writing skills, literature analysis, and grammar
- Conduct regular class tests, assignments, and periodic assessments; evaluate and provide constructive feedback
- Encourage reading habits, creative writing, debate, and public speaking among students
- Maintain accurate academic records, report cards, and student progress reports
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate student performance effectively
- Mentor and guide students on personal and academic matters as required
- Coordinate with other faculty members for interdisciplinary projects and school events
- Participate in curriculum development, workshops, and training sessions
- Organize and supervise co-curricular activities such as literary clubs, debate and quiz competitions
- Ensure classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
Required Qualifications
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience at the senior secondary level (preferred)
