Job Title: Welder
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal components, pipes, structures, and fittings as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding work as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Carry out ARC, MIG, TIG, or gas welding, depending on project requirements.
- Read and understand welding drawings, fabrication drawings, and work instructions.
- Prepare metal surfaces by cleaning, cutting, grinding, and positioning materials before welding.
- Weld pipes, structural steel, plates, fittings, and other metal components.
- Ensure proper alignment and fit-up before welding.
- Inspect completed welds for defects such as cracks, porosity, undercut, and incomplete fusion.
- Repair defective welds when required.
- Use welding machines, grinders, cutting machines, and other tools safely.
- Follow WPS and applicable welding procedures where required.
- Maintain welding equipment and report any defects or malfunctions.
- Coordinate with supervisors, fitters, and other team members.
- Follow all site safety rules and use required PPE.
- Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the work area.
Qualifications
- ITI in Welding or relevant trade certification preferred.
- Relevant welding certification is an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand welding and fabrication drawings.
- Good knowledge of welding techniques, electrodes, filler materials, and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures.
Preferred Experience
2–5 years of experience in welding, fabrication, piping, structural steel, or construction projects.

Construction sites, industrial facilities, fabrication workshops, commercial projects, warehouses, and other project locations.
