Full Stack Engineer (Next.js + WordPress)
Location: Ahmedabad (Hybrid)
Experience: 3–6 Years
Engagement Type: Full-time
Reporting To: Engineering Lead / Delivery Manager
Role Overview
We are hiring a full stack engineer with strong frontend bias who can operate across modern JS frameworks and independently own end-to-end WordPress website development.
This role sits at the intersection of:
- Product engineering (Next.js / React stack)
- Marketing & CMS systems (WordPress / Headless CMS)
The expectation is clear:
Own delivery from design to deployment across both modern web apps and WordPress ecosystems, with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities1) Full Stack Development (Primary Track)
- Build and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript
- Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js (Express or equivalent)
- Design scalable, modular, and reusable components
- Integrate third-party services (APIs, CRMs, analytics tools, AI services)
- Work with MongoDB or similar databases for data management
- Ensure performance optimization, SEO readiness, and responsiveness
2) WordPress Development (Core Requirement)
- Independently design, develop, and deploy complete WordPress websites
- Build custom themes (from scratch) — no heavy reliance on page builders
- Customize and extend functionality via plugins (custom or existing)
- Handle end-to-end ownership:
- UI implementation
- CMS structuring
- Performance optimization
- Security best practices
- Deployment & hosting
- Convert Figma/Design files into production-ready WordPress builds
- Optimize for SEO, Core Web Vitals, and page speed
3) CMS & Headless Architecture

- Integrate CMS with frontend (Next.js) for dynamic content delivery
- Structure content models for scalability and maintainability
4) Deployment & DevOps (Working Knowledge)
- Deploy frontend applications on Vercel
- Manage backend services on AWS / GCP (basic level expected)
- Work with Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab)
- Handle environment configuration and CI/CD basics
Required SkillsCore Stack

- MongoDB or equivalent NoSQL DB
WordPress (Non-Negotiable)
- Strong experience building custom WordPress websites end-to-end
- Deep understanding of:
- Theme development

Integrations
- Experience working with:
- REST APIs
- Third-party integrations (CRM, analytics, marketing tools)
Good to Have (Differentiators)
- Experience with headless WordPress or hybrid architectures
- Exposure to Contentful or other headless CMS
- Familiarity with AI integrations (OpenAI, automation workflows)
- Basic SEO understanding (technical + on-page)
- Experience working on marketing websites + product platforms
What Success Looks Like
- Ability to independently deliver a complete WordPress website from scratch
- Comfortable shipping production-grade Next.js applications
- Strong ownership mindset — minimal hand-holding required
- Clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Ability to operate across multiple projects in parallel
Candidate Profile
- Execution-focused, not just theoretical
- Strong bias toward shipping and ownership
- Comfortable working in hybrid teams and fast-paced environments
- Able to bridge design, frontend, backend, and CMS workflows
