QA automation engineers design automated tests to validate applications by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios.
- Developing a test framework for Android and iOS applications from scratch using Serenity, Cucumber and Appium frameworks.
- UI test coverage for the main functionality of Android & iOS applications.
- Good to have knowledge of native Android and iOS testing framework(Espresso and XCTest).
- Should have knowledge of Rest API automation as well.
- Setting up the parallel launch of tests on a mobile device farm.
- Analyzing and maintaining the regression UI test suite.
- Implementing tools for testing security and mobile application load.
- Git, Jenkins, Jira, Selenium, Postman Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Logging systems Logstash, Elasticsearch, Kibanae.
- Manual tests of new functionality and release builds.
- Understand, test and automate key test cases for the software-defined convergedInfrastructure product.
- Work with test leads/development/deployment teams, and product managers to understand use cases and come up with test cases and test scenarios.
- Be responsible for automation execution and regression testing on product to ensure quality of solutions.
- Run system tests, performance tests and stress tests.
