Job Title: Senior Accountant
Role Overview:
We are seeking an organized Accountant to oversee financial operations and ensure statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will maintain accurate books of accounts, process tax liabilities, and ensure seamless interaction with vendors, auditors, and taxation authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Taxation & Statutory Compliances
- GST: Prepare and file monthly/quarterly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B). Reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B and manage accurate tax payments.
- TDS & TCS: Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS on eligible expenses. File quarterly TDS returns and generate/issue Form 16 and Form 16A for employees and vendors.
- Payroll Processing: Process accurate salary calculations, including statutory deductions for PF and ESIC. Ensure timely monthly payments to respective welfare authorities.
Export & Import Operations
- SOFTEX Processing: Prepare and file software export declarations and requisite invoices to comply with RBI and SEZ guidelines.
- IEC & Customs: Maintain Import Export Code (IEC) registrations, track foreign inward remittances, and coordinate with banks for FIRC and e-BRC management.
Core Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Day-to-Day Entries: Record all financial transactions—sales invoices, purchase bills, and receipt/payment vouchers—using accounting software like Tally Prime or Zoho Books.
- Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS), vendor ledgers, and customer accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, Trial Balance, Profit & Loss statements, and Balance Sheets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master's degree in Commerce/MBA (Finance). CA Inter or equivalent is a strong plus.
- Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in corporate accounting and statutory taxation.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in Tally ERP/Prime, MS Office, and MS Excel.
- Knowledge Requirements: Deep understanding of GST rules, Income Tax slabs for TDS, and EPF/ESIC portal navigation.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
