Quality Assurance:
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage documentation and quality control for large-scale solar projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in topography planning, quality adherence, contractor supervision, vendor coordination, and project documentation. This role requires proficiency in quality control norms, health and safety compliance, and project reporting small to Large scale Solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation & Reporting:
o Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation, including MQR, WQR, DQR reports.
o Manage and control documents related to quality procedures, inspection requests,
and NCR closures.
o Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fault rectification
and safety measures.
o Coordinate with site personnel, consultants, and vendors to ensure accurate reporting
and documentation.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
o Ensure all construction materials meet project specifications through regular
verification and testing.
o Monitor and assess contractor work for quality and technical compliance.
o Conduct daily inspections to identify and resolve quality issues, including the closure
of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
o Develop and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and checklists based on project
specifications.
o Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling for timely project
completion.
o Participate in risk assessment and escalate critical issues for resolution.
o Support the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR) for large-scale solar
projects.
o Manage vendor activities related to quality and materials, ensuring adherence to
project standards.
- Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance:
o Oversee construction health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with
regulatory standards.
o Participate in safety audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure the use of
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on site.
o Identify and assess required stocks of construction materials and ensure contractor
compliance with royalty payments.
o Provide expertise in testing and verifying construction materials (e.g., pull-out tests,
concrete tests, and IS code compliance).
o Ensure construction work adheres to approved method statements and specifications.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in document control, quality assurance, and project coordination in solar or infrastructure projects.
- Expertise in land survey planning, quality control procedures, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and renewable energy regulations
- Strong knowledge of construction materials testing and quality compliance standards.
- Experience in preparing DPRs and handling small to large-scale solar projects.
- Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental compliance in construction.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in topography, surveying, and contouring for solar projects.
- Ability to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in risk assessment and resolution.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with consultants, site personnel, and contractors.
