We need a designer who thinks in brand stories, moves fast with the right tools, and produces work that stops people mid-scroll — across static design, motion, and everything in between.
What you will own
Brand and Visual Design
- Design all brand collateral — social media posts, Stories, Reels covers, carousels, campaign graphics, festive edits, product launch visuals
- Maintain and evolve Techimpero visual identity across every touchpoint — digital, print, and packaging
- Create moodboards for campaigns, collections, and shoot directions
- Design logos, sub-marks, and brand identity elements for future capsule collections and collaborations
- Produce print-ready files for packaging, hangtags, labels, courier bags, and in-store materials
Video Editing and Motion
- Edit Instagram Reels, campaign films, brand videos, and UGC content — fast turnarounds, premium output
- Colour grade footage to match standard
- Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and sound design to video content
- Edit the campaign content
- Create short-form content optimised for vertical (9:16) Instagram and horizontal (16:9) website and YouTube
UI/UX and Digital Design
- Design website UI elements, landing pages, and collection page layouts in Figma
- Create Shopify page assets — banners, hero images, collection headers, pop-ups
- Design email templates, WhatsApp broadcast graphics, and digital ad creatives
- Think mobile-first — most of our audience is on phone
AI-Assisted Design and Ideation
- Use AI tools (Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway, or equivalent) to accelerate ideation, generate mood references, and enhance output
- Stay ahead of what is possible — bring new tools, techniques, and formats to the team before we ask
Skills you must have
Software — non-negotiable
- Adobe Photoshop (PS) — retouching, compositing, product mockups, social graphics
- Adobe Illustrator (AI) — vector illustration, logo work, pattern design, print files
- CorelDRAW (CDR) — print production files, packaging artwork
- Adobe Premiere Pro — video editing, cuts, transitions, colour grading, audio sync
- Figma — UI/UX design, web layouts, prototyping, collaborative design
Design thinking
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, grid systems, and visual hierarchy
- Ability to work within a defined brand identity (our maroon-cream-gold palette) without losing creativity
- Out-of-the-box design sensibility — you do not produce templated, generic work
- Moodboard creation — you can translate a brief into a visual direction quickly and convincingly
- Logo and branding — you understand what makes a mark timeless vs. trendy
Video and motion
- Confident video editing in Premiere Pro — clean cuts, strong pacing, audio sync
- Basic motion graphics (After Effects is a bonus, not required)
- Colour grading — you understand how to make footage feel cohesive and on-brand
- Instagram-native editing — you know what makes a Reel perform vs. what kills it
AI tools and future-readiness
- Actively using AI design tools — Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway ML, or equivalent
- You are not afraid of new tools — you find them and learn them before they are mainstream
- You understand how to use AI as a creative accelerator, not a shortcut to mediocrity
Communication and process
- Can take a verbal or written brief and return a first draft without extensive hand-holding
- Organises files properly — layered PSDs, editable AI files, named exports, version control
- Responds within working hours, flags blockers early, delivers on time
- Open to feedback without ego — good design is collaborative
Nice to have
- Experience with fashion brands, beauty brands, or lifestyle D2C brands
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics
- Experience designing for Shopify (knowing what dimensions, formats, and specs Shopify requires)
- Photography or retouching skills — able to enhance product shots without a dedicated retoucher
- Understanding of print production — bleed, crop marks, CMYK vs RGB, paper stock considerations
- Familiarity with Instagram's evolving formats — Broadcasts, Threads graphics, Collabs
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
