Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer/Consultant with 5–8 years of experience to drive Marketing Cloud strategy, solution delivery and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, excellent communication skills and proven experience working with global stakeholders, particularly across the EMEA region.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand marketing objectives and translate them into scalable Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Lead business engagement, requirements gathering and solution discussions.
- Support and collaborate with EMEA stakeholders across multiple business functions.
- Drive backlog refinement, prioritization and sprint planning activities.
- Own end-to-end Marketing Cloud strategy and delivery initiatives.
- Design, develop, configure and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
- Provide recommendations on best practices, platform enhancements and adoption of new Marketing Cloud capabilities.
- Work closely with cross-functional Salesforce teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment across the Salesforce ecosystem.
- Conduct solution demos, workshops and stakeholder presentations.
- Support production deployments, troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5–8 years of overall Salesforce experience with significant hands-on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

- Marketing Cloud integrations
- Experience engaging directly with business users and senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to gather, analyze and document business requirements.
- Experience supporting global teams, preferably within the EMEA region.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, backlog management and delivery processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and influence decision-making.
Salesforce ecosystem knowledge
- Strong understanding of the broader Salesforce platform and ecosystem.
- Experience working with or integrating Marketing Cloud with:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce Service Cloud
- Good understanding of CRM data models, customer lifecycle management and cross-cloud capabilities.
Marketing Cloud expertise
- Deep hands-on experience with advanced Marketing Cloud capabilities.
- Strong awareness of the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, enhancements and roadmap developments.
- Experience designing scalable, enterprise-grade marketing automation solutions.
- Understanding of customer engagement strategies, personalization, segmentation and campaign optimization.
Must have certifications:
Preferred / Strongly Desired
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama).
- Knowledge of AMPscript, SQL, SSJS and API integrations.
- Experience with Customer Data Platform (CDP)/Data Cloud concepts.
- Exposure to multi-cloud Salesforce implementations.
- Experience working in large enterprise environments with global stakeholders.
