Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join our automation/engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining PLC and HMI/SCADA control systems for industrial automation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and maintain PLC programs using Ladder Logic, Function Block, Structured Text, or similar languages.
- Design and configure HMI/SCADA interfaces for control systems and operator interaction.
- Test and troubleshoot PLC systems, conduct commissioning activities, and support installation on site.
- Collaborate with engineering, electrical, and mechanical teams to integrate automation solutions.
- Document control logic, system configuration, and technical procedures.
- Perform system validation, FAT/SAT testing, and ensure operational reliability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize automation performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Automation Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider) and HMI/SCADA tools.
- Good understanding of electrical schematics, control systems, and industrial communication protocols.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
