Job Summary
Clover Greens Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled and dedicated Cafeteria Cook / Commi III with relevant hotel or hospitality industry experience. The candidate should be capable of preparing quality South Indian breakfast items along with lunch and dinner recipes for employees in a cafeteria setup.
The ideal candidate should be able to handle day-to-day kitchen operations, maintain food hygiene standards, and support the kitchen team in delivering timely meals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook South Indian breakfast items such as idli, dosa, vada, upma, pongal, chutneys, sambar, etc.
- Assist in preparing lunch and dinner recipes including vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes.
- Ensure food is prepared according to taste, quality, and hygiene standards.
- Support senior chefs in daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and cafeteria area.
- Ensure proper storage of food materials and ingredients.
- Follow company safety and food handling procedures.
- Monitor stock usage and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Work efficiently during peak meal hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel industry, cafeteria, restaurant,
- Good knowledge of South Indian cuisine and basic North Indian dishes.
- Ability to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes independently.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Team player with disciplined and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts if required.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Candidates from Bangalore, Karnataka, or Tamil Nadu preferred.
- Nearby candidates will be given priority.
- Must be able to join within 10 days.
- Experience in corporate cafeteria or hotel kitchen will be an added advantage.
Education
- Relevant hotel management or culinary certification preferred.
