Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and student-focused Senior Academic Counsellor to join our overseas education consultancy. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance to students aspiring to study abroad, lead counselling processes, and support junior counsellors while maintaining high conversion and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-depth academic and career counselling to students seeking overseas education opportunities
- Guide students on course selection, university shortlisting, admission requirements, and application processes
- Advise students on study destinations including (but not limited to) UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Asia
- Assist students with SOPs, LORs, resumes, application forms, and interview preparation
- Support students through the complete admission cycle, from enquiry to enrollment
- Coordinate with international universities, partners, and internal teams
- Track application progress and ensure timely follow-ups with students and institutions
- Participate in student seminars, webinars, education fairs, and promotional events
- Maintain accurate student records and CRM updates
- Stay updated on international education trends, visa regulations, and university requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- 2–4years of experience in overseas education counseling or study abroad consulting
- Strong knowledge of international education systems, admission processes, and career pathways
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to handle senior-level student counselling and complex cases
- Leadership and mentoring skills
- Target-oriented mindset with strong conversion and client relationship management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
