Role Overview
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Validation Testing Professional to ensure the quality, accuracy, and compliance of applications, data, and business processes through comprehensive validation and testing activities — including planning, designing, executing, and documenting tests in line with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Validation & Testing: Develop test plans, validation protocols, and test cases; perform functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing; validate applications, data migrations, reports, and workflows; ensure traceability between requirements and test results; support risk assessments.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and manage defects through their lifecycle; collaborate with dev/business teams on resolution; verify fixes via re-testing.
- Compliance & Documentation: Prepare validation plans, test protocols, traceability matrices, and summary/validation reports; ensure regulatory compliance; support audits.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and QA teams; participate in requirement reviews and release planning; report testing status to stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 5–7 years in Software Testing, Validation Testing, or QA (Agile & Waterfall environments)
- Strong grasp of STLC and Validation Life Cycle; manual and automated testing methods
- Test management tools: JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM/Quality Center, TestRail
- API testing (Postman, SoapUI); SQL for data validation
- Defect management and reporting tools
Preferred Skills
- Regulated industry experience (Healthcare, Pharma, Life Sciences, Banking, Manufacturing)
- Knowledge of GxP, CSV, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, or similar standards
- Automation exposure: Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- ETL/Data Validation testing experience
Soft Skills
Strong analytical ability, communication, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
Preferred Certifications
ISTQB Certified Tester, CQA, or CSV/Validation certifications (for regulated industries).
